About Us

The County Councils Network is the national voice for England's county councils. In total, it represents all 27 county councils and 10 county unitary authorities, who collectively contain 26 million people.
It is a cross-party, politically neutral organisation that researches, puts forward proposals, and advocates to Government and the wider local government sector on behalf of its member councils, ensuring they have a strong voice nationally.
